There is a microbrewery, in a bar called ‘le fer rouge’ on the way to ‘la Chapelle dAbondance’. It brews 5 real ales and is worth a visit.

A luxurious new swimming pool has been built in the heart of Châtel, and features indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and leisure facilities and a restaurant. This will be open for both the summer and winter seasons.
